SMH:Yesterday Mr Bush once again rejected ratifying Kyoto. "Kyoto may work for other countries," he said at his Sydney press conference, "it just didn't make sense for the United States". Wie es macht kein sinn, was sollen wir den sonst machen?
SMH:THE Prime Minister, John Howard, has backed George Bush's new global climate-change strategy to replace the Kyoto Protocol with a plan that calls for all big emitters to cut greenhouse gases, but avoids imposing binding targets on developed economies.
Ach so jetzt verstehe ich, wie dumm von mir - Wir ersetzen Kyoto durch ein "besseres" Abkommen. Also eines welches einen nicht an feste Reductionsziele bindet. Das macht natuerlich Sinn - Also fuer die USA.
Gut das die hier ueber sowas diskutieren, waehrend sich zur gleichen Zeit in Berlin die Umweltminister der G8 treffen um ueber die Fortsetzung nach Kyoto zu sprechen.
